Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Saigon
Arrive at Saigon Airport and freshen up before starting a city tour. Visit the exterior of Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral constructed by the French using materials imported from Marseilles (under renovation until 2022). Explore the Saigon Central Post Office, designed in the early 20th century by the renowned French architect Gustave Eiffel. Next, visit the War Remnants Museum, which houses an extensive collection of artifacts, weaponry, photographs, and documents from Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. End the day with some free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

Day 2
Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located 75 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. These tunnels served as a crucial underground hideout and resistance base for the Viet Cong during conflicts with the French and later the Americans. The hand-dug tunnels formed an elaborate network stretching over 120 km, extending as far as the Cambodian border. This underground system included meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, storage depots, trenches, and emergency exits—all designed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and resilient enough to withstand bombings and prolonged sieges.
Return to Saigon.
Day 3
Ho Chi Minh – Full-Day My Tho (Mekong Delta) Tour (65 km, approx. 2-hour drive)
After breakfast, take a road trip to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice-producing region. Upon arrival in My Tho City, the capital of Tien Giang Province, board a boat and cruise through the intricate waterways, observing the daily life of locals and the picturesque landscape. Visit Unicorn Island, where you can stroll through lush orchards, sample fresh tropical fruits, and enjoy traditional Southern Vietnamese music. Continue to Ben Tre Province to witness coconut candy production at a local workshop, take a short walk, and experience a horse-drawn carriage ride. Cruise further to visit bee-keeping farms, where you can taste fresh honey and enjoy honey tea.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City for leisure time.
